Shiran Glass
Asking for help can sometimes be daunting. No matter the situation, reaching out to a
mental health practitioner can help you get clarity about your life. Sometimes genetics
determines whether you suffer from anxiety, depression, or stress; sometimes it’s life
circumstance; and yet other times it’s childhood experiences.
Regardless of the cause, therapy can provide guidance and support on your path to well-being.
You deserve to live a life of meaning that is balanced. Suffering can occur whether you
have a diagnosis or not; whether you are smart and successful, or whether you have
financial stability. Through a compassionate lens, I can work with you to ease struggles
and stress and increase happiness and well-being. It is not what you have, but how you
learn to live with it.
I have traveled near and far searching for the fix- to always be at the
top of my game, setting unrealistic standards that left me disappointed. I discovered that
learning to cope with any situation or emotion can build strength and resilience.
Together we can create goals to get you where you want to be.
I love using all of my life experiences, degrees, and trainings to best assist you in living
your best life. To name a few: CBT, DBT, mindfulness, emotional resiliency, and
spirituality.
My formal training includes a Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University and
licensure as an LMSW in New York. I draw on a variety of backgrounds and trainings to help
meet your goals; Mindfulness and emotional regulation from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
(DBT) as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I enjoy working with individuals,
adolescents, couples, and parents.

Jessenia Bermudez
I am a Bi-Lingual English and Spanish speaker. Plenty of people struggle to identify the source of their profound emotional and mental discomforts. Deciding to find someone to talk to about these experiences and purposely aiming to feel better and make changes is a courageous step.
I take the time to understand the pain and struggles in your life and help you find the cause of what is hurting you to create lasting change. My passion is helping those become the best versions of themselves leaving clients feeling empowered and confident. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques and provide concrete tools to see progress in every session. Each session is designed to meet the unique needs of each client. To remind you that you are more resilient than you credit yourself.
